Frequently asked questions

Reservations are encouraged for Friday and Saturday, and for groups of four or more on any night. We hold a handful of seats at the bar for walk-ins every evening — first come, first served. Email or call to book; same-day reservations are welcome if space allows.

Smart-casual is the mark we aim for, and we trust you to find your version of it. We only ask that you leave the sportswear at home. Aurora is the kind of place where the effort you put into the evening is part of the atmosphere.

Absolutely — especially earlier in the week. On busy nights (Friday, Saturday, and special event evenings) walk-in space is limited, but we always keep a few stools free at the bar. If the wait is longer than 20 minutes we'll tell you upfront so you can decide.

Yes. We take full buy-outs on Sunday evenings and select weeknight slots. Partial buy-outs of the back room are available any night, subject to availability. Get in touch at hello@aurora.example with your date, guest count, and what you have in mind, and we'll come back to you within 48 hours.

Our main entrance is step-free and the bar floor is fully accessible by wheelchair. An accessible washroom is available inside. If you have specific requirements — seating needs, lighting sensitivity, or anything else — please let us know when you book and we will make sure you're looked after from the moment you arrive.

Aurora is a licensed premises for guests aged 19 and over (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction). Valid government-issued photo ID is required. We enforce this without exception — please don't be offended when we ask.

We offer a small selection of snacks and bar bites designed to complement the drinks menu rather than replace dinner. If you're planning to eat before joining us, we're happy to suggest a few neighbours we like. Full food menus are reserved for our ticketed tasting events.
